Teaches full time at Kabarak University.

Prof. Henry Onderi (PhD)

Henry Onderi has a PhD from the University of Reading, UK and is currently working as an Associate Professor of Planning and Economics of Education, Department of Curriculum and Educational Management in the School of Education, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST). He is the Director of Kisii Campus of JOOUST and also the current Chair, County Education Board of Kisii County. Henry has research interest in teacher professional development, school management and Leadership, Special Needs Education and consultancy work in capacity building on school Governance. He is widely published in the areas of interest. He has supervised a number of postgraduate students and is an external examiner in various Universities nationally and internationally. His current research project is '"Promoting Awareness and participation of Persons with Disabilities in Education and other Community- Based Projects in Siaya County of Kenya", funded by National Research Fund, Kenya

Dr. David Kuria Wamukuru (Phd)

Member

David Kuria Wamukuru holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics of Education from Egerton University, a Master of Education in Planning and Economics of Education from Maseno University, and Bachelors of Education from Egerton University. He is a seasoned researcher in the field of Education and Community studies. He has wide experience in data management and technical report writing, and has collaborated in industry researches with various national and international development bodies across Africa. Dr. Wamukuru has also been involved in the supervision and examination of masters’ and doctoral level students at various universities in East Africa.

DR. WAWERU MURIITHI (PHD)

Accomplished scholar holding a PH.D in Counselling Psychology from Egerton University

Masters in Education – Guidance and Counselling –Egerton University

Bachelor of Education (Arts) –University of Nairobi. He is a Published author of refereed journal articles within the field of Education and Social Sciences, commissioned research reports and teaching manuals.

Education and Social Sciences Research Association of Kenya (ESSRAK) is a professional association that brings together scholars and researchers of education as well as the social sciences fields, who rely on quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in carrying out research. ESSRAK is concerned with promoting and encouraging good practices in the aforesaid researches, the dissemination and practical application of the results.
