ESSRAK Objects

Education and Social Sciences Research Association of Kenya (ESSRAK) is a professional association that brings together scholars and researchers of education as well as the social sciences fields, who rely on quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research methodologies in carrying out research. ESSRAK is concerned with promoting and encouraging good practices in research, its dissemination and practical application of the results.

ESSRAK members are faculty, researchers, graduate students, and other distinguished professionals with rich and diverse expertise in education and social sciences research. These members work in a range of settings from universities and other academic institutions to research institutes, government and state agencies, school systems, testing companies, and nonprofit organizations. Based on their research, the members produce and disseminate knowledge, refine methods and measures, and stimulate translation and practical application of research results.

ESSRAK also publishes three quarterly year journals: Journal of Education and Practices (JEPs) - ISSN 2617-5444; International Journal of Business Management and Process (IJBMP) - ISSN 2616-3209; and Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (JHSS) - ISSN 2708-504X. ESSRAK journals are continuously seeking to adopt the best universally recognized editorial and publishing practices, recruiting experienced and independent scholars/researchers in editorial boards; as well as adoption of strict peer review mechanisms to ensure research publications that meet the highest standards

ESSRAK Objectives

ESSRAK is guided by the following mandate or objectives

1. Dissemination of knowledge

To facilitate and disseminate knowledge about education and social sciences research and practice.

2. Encourage high standards in the study

To encourage high standards in the study, practice and preparation of education and social science research.

3. Equitable programs and participation in education

To foster just and equitable programs and participation in education and social science research across Kenya.

4. To foster close links and exchanges

To foster close links and exchanges, and organize and support national, regional and international conferences to promote understanding and collaboration on various aspects of education and social sciences research and practice.

5. To establish respective,networks for expert Researchers

To establish respective, inter, and intra networks for expert education and social sciences researchers, doctoral and early career scholars.

6. Youth Mentorship

To mentor the youth into education and social sciences research practice
